1. Create a Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA) Account and Register for a Program
a. Click: https://membership.rowingcanada.org/Account/Login
b. If you have rowed in Canada previously at any club, you should already have an RCA member number. Do not create a new account until you have confirmed that you do not have one already. If you do, please switch to the registration instructions for “Returning Members”.
c. If you have never rowed or have confirmed that you do not have an RCA member number, proceed with creating one by clicking “Create Account Now“.
d. Enter your name, gender, birthdate, and language preference, and click “Next”
e. Enter your email address, mailing address, and emergency contact info. Select a username and password. The system will alert you if the username entered is already taken, and you will need to pick something else. Once successful, record your username and password in a safe place for future reference. Click “Next“.
f. You will receive an email from RCA asking you to confirm your email address. “Please confirm your account by clicking here“. Click the link to complete your account set-up, and your registration submission.
g. Verify the account details shown. Edit if incorrect. At the bottom under “Roles”, select “Join New Program“.
h. Select “Nova Scotia” and “Mic Mac Amateur Aquatic Club“.
i. Scroll through the programs outlined to find the one(s) you would like to register for, and click “Join“.
j. On the new screen that appears, confirm that you have selected the correct option. Scroll to the bottom and read the Mic Mac AAC Rowing Waiver. Check the box to confirm “I have read and agree to the terms in this consent form”.
k. Click “Accept“.
l. If joining multiple programs (such as multiple weeks of Junior Summer Camp), click “Join Another?“. Repeat steps i-l until all programs have been selected.
m. Logout once complete.
2. Remit Payment
a. Online payment for Mic Mac AAC Rowing programs via the RCA website is enabled. To pay using this method, click the “Pay Online Now” option. The amount being paid can be adjusted manually where applicable for certain programs to account for family discounts, early bird registration discounts, additional first-week fees, etc.
b. Payment can also be made by cash or cheque payable to Mic Mac AAC Rowing at any registration event, or by contacting the club registrar at: micmacaacrowing@gmail.com.
c. Payment must be received before participants are enrolled in a program. Once payment is received, you will receive an email confirming your activation in a program.
