Fundraiser: Wine + Beer Tasting + Auction April 9!

Mic Mac Amateur Aquatic Club.
 The Wine & Beer Tasting will be hosted by Bishop’s Cellar from 7 – 9 PM followed by a cash bar and silent auction that will go until 10:30 PM. This event is vital for assisting with the purchase and maintenance of equipment that is required by all Mic Mac AAC Rowing programs.

Tickets are $30, and can be purchased by in advance by contacting any member of the Mic Mac AAC Rowing program, emailing micmacaacrowing@gmail.com or online through PayPal.

The Mic Mac Amateur Aquatic Club is located at 192 Prince Albert Road, Dartmouth, NS.

Deadline Extended-2016 Coaching Job Call

Mic Mac AAC Rowing is recruiting full-time and part-time coaches for its spring and summer rowing programs. Coaches are responsible for developing and leading the Learn to Row, Novice, Recreational, and Competitive programs for adults, and the Junior Summer Camp Programs. Coaches will also have responsibilities related to program promotion, and equipment and facility maintenance. Candidates must have current Emergency First Aid, CPR and Pleasure Craft Operators Card, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, organizational, communication, and leadership skills. Preference will be given to individuals actively engaged in NCCP training and certification, including Learn to Row Instructor, RCA Coach, RCA Performance Coach, or equivalent.

Deadline extended: Applicants are requested to send a cover letter and CV by Friday, March 25 to micmacaacrowing@gmail.com. Please include details of your rowing, coaching, and other leadership experience.

The Wine & Beer Tasting will be hosted by Bishop’s Cellar from 7 – 9 PM followed by a cash bar and silent auction that will go until 10:30 PM. We are asking for support from all our members by purchasing and selling tickets and supplying auction items. Tickets are $30. This event is vital for assisting with the purchase and maintenance of equipment that is required by all our programs.

We will be distributing this letter to our active members but we need everyone’s help. If you aren’t currently training you can purchase tickets by contacting Jane VanHorne or Tracy Brown or by contacting anyone you know who is presently training.

Cheques or cash are preferred but credit cards will be accepted.
